do any of you guy have this problem... I would post a pic but Ive already wiped it up
The only oil I had was when I bought the car, replaced the valve cover gasket, and pressurewashed the engine, hasn't happened since. But invest in a TRD oil cap for it. I got one, man, it makes you cry when you see it.
You shouldn't. Either you're spilling resh oil going in and not noticing, or it's time for a new cap.

Also check the fasteners around the valve covers (where the spark plugs are). Mine was loose for a long time until I gave it a twist and literally tightened it by hand. Not Good.
dont overfill oil. i think my car says 4.1 litres, but i only give it 3.5 or so, anymore and it keeps spilling out.

i never fill more than half way on the dip stick... and i thoguht it was the cap too so i got a new one, same result... and i dont think its the valve cover gasket cause the oil is above the gasket line
the cap doenst totally seal on my engine it still leaks if i overfill

You should really fill the motor up to the F mark. If it's under..your not really getting it to capacity and it may cause problems..if your cap leaks wen you fill it up to the proper level then time to replace those leaking parts.

It can't be the valve covers...
Stuff doesn't flow uphill.

If you have a lot of blowby or worn valve seals, it will increase pressure in the engine itself. This will make engine oil leak anywhere it can.
But if it is leaking from the oil cap, just get a replacement.
The TRD unit is sweet but make sure you get the right one, there are different models. Frigging dealers want a ridiculous amount for them though.
