New To the Forum

Hey everyone. Like the title suggests, i'm new to the forum being as I just purchased a 1994 Toyota Camry LE, automatic transmission, 16 valve 4 cylinder. I had a few basic question I was hoping some of you could field for me.

1. I noticed as soon as I started driving the car that when I come to a stop, the idle dips well below 1000, not to the point of stalling out, but to the point of causing extreme vibrations throughout the car. Any suggestions on how to tweak this?

2. The first time I drove at night, I noticed that the lights for my A/C Heater controls do not function, I'm sure this could be something as simple as a fuse, but I'm not sure. Any suggestions?

Thanks for taking the time to read this and help my out.

Put the car in park and take your foot off the brake pedal. Any difference?

Fuse, faulty wiring, blown bulb(s). Check the fuse first, as this is the easiest (and cheapest). If that doesn't solve yer problem check the wires (especially the power supply). If the bulbs are blown, I've heard that they are a b***h to replace, search for a faq or diy or something.
