Cool

All 1mz-fe's are OBD-II compliant ECU's, they just don't all have the under dash connector. (I forget what year they added that. I think it was '96 or '97?)

If you don't have the port under your steering colum, you'll have a DIAG port in the engine bay.

All 1996 and newer vehicles (cars and light trucks) sold in the United States are OBD II compliant.

NOTE: Federal law requires that all 1996 and newer cars and light trucks sold in the United States must be OBD II compliant; this includes all Domestic, Asian and European vehicles.
• Some 1994 and 1995 vehicles are OBD II compliant.

To find out if a 1994 or 1995 vehicle is OBD II compliant, check the following:

1. The Vehicle Emissions Control Information (VECI) Label. This label is located under the hood or by the radiator of most vehicles.
If the vehicle is OBD II compliant, the label will state OBD II Certified.
2. Government Regulations require that all OBD II compliant vehicles must have a common sixteen-pin Data Link Connector (DLC).
NOTE: Some 1994 and 1995 vehicles have 16-pin connectors but are not OBD II compliant, only the ones where the Vehicle Emissions Control Label states that, they are OBD II Certified.

there a obd2 port on my 95 1mz-fe on the engine under a piece of plastic that says diagnosis(its on the top of the motor near the stupid plastic cover thingy and the plugs.(on a 95 v6). there is also a port inside the car. mine was located behind the storage bin area to the left of the steering wheel. i use it to put change in. u just pop out that little bin and there is a obd2 port behind it. i had my code pulled at autozone for a o2 sensor a few months back.

in the US obd2 was required after '96 but toyota put it on there cars early. i know my 95 v6 is obd2 but im not sure what years the 4cyl camry's or other toyota's came with obd2.

The camry one is behind the change pocket where the fuses are to the left of the steering wheel also in the avalon there is a small flap where fuses are also to the left of the steering wheel for the port there. Now the camry is good to go but my avalon is giving code P0401 "EGR Flow Insufficient" where to go from here i dono im tired now so ill prolly just play some games online anyone got any suggestions?
