well i don't know exactly how much you would gain.
but you properly not going to gain 10+ hp.
it also depends if you have a short ram or cold air intake.
if you have an auto transmission, chances are you would gain like 1 - 2 Whp may be ?????? but it does have a nice sound to it tho.

I wouldn't touch the intake on the Gen 5. It has two intakes to the airbox, one that stays closed for higher torque in the lower RPM stage. Once you hit a higher RPM, the second intake opens up for more power.
Plus, the actual intake of the air is right at the front of the car...can't beat that.
Silver Streak is right on the money. a cold air intake by itself maybe a horse or 2. but a little better throttle response.. as for cold air, you're already getting it as cold as you're gonna get it. you have to ask yourself is 1 or 2 hp(maybe) worth a couple of hundred bucks?
MR2BAD you are very smart.
Ditto, you'll never see one gain 5hp on any of the v6's up to this point.
They all, however, produce a great pissed off sound as RPM's climb.

for anything, anytime; including camry turbos Now with Turbo!
An intake alone won't do much. Ur current gen has the best FACTORY set-up for maximum gas mileage and performance. Adding that intake might even hinder ur performance & gas mileage.
What commonly referred to a CAI here is an elongated wide barrel tube with an airfilter on one end, probably stock fuel metering on the other.
This is hooked up in place of an air box (filtered) with a tract that is designed to reduce noise while flowing what the engine needs.
Remember here in the US, it is regulated by fuel metering devices which in turn comply with air regs. Fuck with the regs and you got no tags.
Dally forth on your own dime/time.

1200mk, as far as exhaust goes you can pick up a little hp 5-7(maybe)depends on your set up, but again you could end up losing some torque.don't want to do that.. the pursuit of HP is expensive. there's not any 1 thing you can just bolt on and get a bunch of HP. with the exception of turbo/Super chrg, but you will also need intercooling, fuel enhancement, tuning, etc. and it's not real cheap either. watch out for claims of some of these bolt ons for HP. most of it is not true. just a marketing scheme...http://members.cardomain.com/mr2bad
