(yes I know gauges have been beaten to death but this is a different aspect i guess )
Been doing some search reading on people who installed indiglo gauges and see that some people have had them going out, blink, go on and off, and having them warp/curl/bubble.
(you would know right Silver Streak? )
Wanted to know if this is a common problem since im considering on installing some for myself.
ive had problems here in west michigan with the fabric glue i used freezing and expanding, thus causing the needle to snag on cold drives at certain speeds. waiting a few minutes for the car to warm up solves this problem. other than that no problems since the install.
I have had mines for 2 yrs and i recently updated the indiglo to reverse silver, there should be no problem if you dont do a sloppy job of installing it and yeah it depends on weather condition or where you live if its cold it might get stuck but after a warm up it will be running like normal...so be very considerate of what you use to mount it. I used super glue for mines, dotted so its easy for removal in the future. Double sided tape works too, but have to be super thin.
Had mine almost for a year already and once in awhile it will just turn off. At first a tap under the steering wheel will turn it back on but after awhile that didn't work. However it does stay on 90% of the time I've had it though.
He probably had the regular indiglo gauges where the whole thing lights up green or blue. I had those too, they get to be kinda bright and annoying. The reverse's I have now, I love. Never any problems as long as you do a decent install job.
had mine for 1 yr or so, and they start to blink alot, and fade in/out, then disappear all together...then in a few seconds come back on. it's really annoying. like Galvatron said, mine are the regular indiglo...maybe i'll get some new ones...with reverse. hey galvatron, yours look sweet

Hmm, if I had to rethink...I got a little warpage on mine, 10 months since I installed.
Was thinking of taking them off, but I will catch shit for sure for another dumb project I just had to have. I have a white car so the whiteface is fine, but my middles light up and I dont like it more and more. I have mine turned way down now. The silver reverse are cool too.
I would have like a product that would have given me pure white light, not that yellowish glow especially when you dim it down. What happened to the led conversions? Lost track on that thread. I think it was a ?
