Arrow hot hot heat (not!)

soooo

when i need some heat, i crank the dial to give me appropriate strengths of air...seems simple enough, right? well it only works on the 2nd half of the dial ie the high flow side - the bottom half doesnt blow shit and you can't hear the fan running

i know this was an issue with gen 2's and all you had to do was replace a teeny bit - is it the same for gen 3's too? anyone else have a similar problem?

if in fact there is also a thread that addresses this problem, now is your chance

I would attribute the problem to either a faulty switch or fan (duh ) but hoenstly i would be inclined to pull the switch first and then pull the fan. Hopefully you can narrow it down this way.

Well usually its a multi speed fan, the speeds depends on the current being sent to it.

More likely if a fuse was to blow, it would effect the high end rather than the low end. Because the high end would recieve the strongest current, thus blowing the fuse.

Do all fans die at low speeds? Even the ones under the dash?

You don't "send" current ! Any electrical device decides on it's current based on its resistance & the applied voltage.
