Got the stuff at Riebes auto (napa). So I started getting my car ready (96 1mz-fe) and my neighbor came outside, I told him about it and he watched me do the first treatment through the brake booster vaccuum line (he reved while I poured 1/3 the can or about 5oz to be exact in sips took 3-4 sips until empty so I didn't flood the motor) finished let it run for a few seconds then killed it... it had trouble dying so I put my finger over the vaccuum line hole to kill it. Waited about 15 minutes and started the car, let it idle for about 5 min then went on a nice spirited drive... TONS OF SMOKE... I drove through a residential and a guy that was working on his car runs up to my window and says "DUDE YOU'RE ON FIRE" I laughed and explained. Noticed a nice increase in power after the first treatment. Came back and proceeded with another treatment through the same vaccuum line and then put 5oz in the crank case. Started her up and let her idle for about 5 min and smoke poured... went back out on the road and smoked out the neighborhood again (not as bad as the first time). Then my neighbor went and got some and we did his motor and then his cousin came over and we also did his. All 3 cars a huge improvements. On my next refill I am going to pour a whole can into the tank and fill it up. My car has 105,565 miles on it, my neighbors cougar has 56,000 and his cousins maxima has 156,000 miles. The maxima had the most smoke of course but the cougar had ALOT more smoke than my camry. All in all I would recommend this to ANYONE this stuff is awesome made a HUGE HUGE difference in power and my idle is so smooth its absolutely beautiful sounding. TRY IT!
Behind your brake fluid reservoir there is a big circular thing with a few tubes coming off of it, its the thickest one... here is a link to a diy seafoam that shows pics and videos of how to do it. I did it a little different than them... I got a small funnel and inserted it into the vaccuum tube and poured it in instead of sucking it all at once like they do in the video. I poured the 5oz in over 3-4 sips.
Make sure you WARM UP your car and !TURN YOUR CAR OFF! about 5 seconds after the last drop of the 5oz (the can is 16oz so I used a plain old measuring cup). Make sure you have a buddy with your and have him try to keep the car at about 2,000rpm while you a sipping it in. Pour... let it suck it (instant) wait a second or two and pour again (shouldn't take longer than 10 seconds to complete the pouring)... repeat till you use the last drop of the 5oz you measured. The car will wanna die so have someone on the pedal who knows cars. Wait about 10-15 minutes to start you car and let it idle for about 5 minutes while some smoke clears. Go on a nice hardy drive (some WOT pulls some regular driving and some slow driving)until the smoke is gone (lots of smokey fun). repeat the vaccuum line treatment atleast one more time (or twice ). After you are done with the vaccuum treatment remove your negative battery cable for 10 minutes or so to reset your ecu so it can remap to the new readings.
If you put it in your oil change your oil within 700 miles. If you put it in your brake booster vaccuum line make sure you do it atleast twice. If you put it in your gas make sure you have an empty tank and pour a whole can in and fill her up all the way. Remember not to pour to much at a time, keep her reved and turn it off a few seconds after the last drop is poured (if the car does not wanna die when you turn the key off put your finger over the vaccuum hole or reconnect it really fast). They also have seafoam deep creep which is in a spray can for spraying down the TB, I'll have to try soon that aswell . Have fun with this stuff guys its great!
Yes, Seafoam is the greatest $4 that can be spent on a car.
That includes making boost controlers from the plumbing section of a hardware store

It's just a harsh solvent cleaner...
Don't worry about holding the gas down You shouldn't need it at all. If for some strange reason you WANT to accelerate the engine, while it stumbles, don't be a girly man and reach over there and just turn the throttle body by hand LoL! (When it starts running roughly is when you want to uncrank the car. Revving, or never shutting the car off just purges the stuff out into the exhaust system)
No but seriously! Pour what you're going to use into a cup, put a funnel on a vacuum line dump it in... When it starts running roughly uncrank the car... (Easier to leave the window open and reach in, than fumble with the door)
