Ok, still in search of my rims !! Want to hopefully get some before the season is over.

Does anyone know how good ADR rims are ??
I was looking at Enki, but their offset for the 18'' are 40 and don't think that will work with my 1.6'' drop

I now am looking at the ADR Tensions, I love the look their 18'' have a 42 offset, which I hope will avoid rubbing issues.....

Looking for any feed back on ADR rims or the 42 offset with 1.6'' drop. 2000 solara

THANKS !

One of the Solara guys schung(?) put in 19X8.5 rims with 38" offset on rear only.
He had to shave the fender lip. He also lowered car with TRD springs.

I think it will work if you shave or roll the fender lip..

I heard some people doing it on their driveway with a wooden baseball bat. They put the bat in between the tire and the fender then they sit on it while someone gently drives the car forward... Kind of risky but I heard it really works without hurting the paint.

With respect to offset, it's not how big the rims are, but how wide they are. 40 offset on a 18x8 rim is different from a 40 offset on a 18x9 rim.

Ok thanks for that info. They are 18'' x 7.5'' with a 42 offset, think that might work ?

Great !! thanks for all your help, I think I am going to go with the ADR Tension 18'' then. Only probably back ordered 3 weeks, might just wait until next season since I"ll only be able to drive on them for like 2 months, we'll see
