You can just replace the springs to have your car lowered. But most people recommend to have struts replaced too.

well im just speakin though personal experience... but i think if u get lowered springs on stock struts the performance of the stock struts degrades quicker than usual leaving u with a bouncy as hell ride as i mentioned b4...

from personal experience the ride u get will be worse than the ride with your present stock springs and struts...

but it also depends how old your stock struts r... my bro just got lowered springs in his 2001 Mirage and the ride is great, also my friend with a 1995 Corolla just got lowered springs in his = ride is also good...

but previously i just put lowered springs in my 1989 Camry... call me KOBE... i was boucing around like a bball

but all is kewl now cuz i got sum gabriel shocks in...

Save up and get the springs and struts at the same time.

If you do the springs now and do the struts later you'll have to tear it apart again to replace the struts, which means you pay for labor twice.

The person who replaced the struts and springs for me told me that it is okay to have only springs replaced.

I have had experience with just Eibach lowering springs installed with my OEM struts on my Gen4 for 2 years. I did NOT like it at all since it was very bouncy. If you don't mind spending extra money again for labor costs, then add the struts later on.

What struts and lowering springs do u recommend for a Gen 3 and where can i buy them, is complicated to buy like do i have to know a lot about suspension to know what to buy.........do u think i could take it somewhere and they could buy the parts and install them or am i better off buy the parts and taking it to them considering i am very much a novice when it comes to suspension

i have ridden on my stock struts for over a year now with lowering springs, and the ride is great. also, shawn with the badass gen3 still have his OEM struts, and he just cut his springs, and i don't think he bi*ches too much about the ride
