I have decided that next year I am going to buy a Jetta 1.8T (turbo), 4 cyl, 140 HP, Electric Blue with black leather interior and sunroof.... the camry will be gone :sad: :sad: :sad:

Well, I don't know where you are located, but the original Jetta 1.8T's here in the US had 150HP, and this year they bumped 'em up to 180HP. My friend has a 2002 w/180HP, and it's a pretty good car. Not as roomy as a Camry, (or even the previous gen. Jetta,) but alot of fun to drive. Good luck!

True, they are nice... I test drove a new Jetta VR-6 and a Passat 1.8T w/ tiptronic tranny not too long ago.. were definitely fun cars, but a bit more than what I wanted to pay :smile:

Good news, im now looking at both a Solara and the Jetta... I like the Solara sooooo much, red with tan leather, sunroof, definitely a hot car.... we'll see what happens and ill keep you guys posted, im still in need of some $$$ so this probably wont happen till winter...

And im not selling the camry, its gonna be the backup ride :smile:
