Highbeams work but not Lowbeams

One day I went to my car and noticed when I turned on my lights, it didn't work. When I put it on the highbeams it was ok but can't go around with my highbeams on all the time. Does anyone know if this is a fuse problem? Where do I begin on how to fix it? Thanks.

this was covered before. the low beams both burned out, one burned out before you noticed it. couldn't be the fuse, unless your car had daytime running lights, was from canada, and got struck by lightning
