hey, i'd love to know the true top speed of a gen 4 auto or 5 spd 1mz-fe v6 camry. is it governed? how does it drive in the triple digits. i don't want to go out on the streets as yet to find out for myself. thanks

Honestly what does it matter? there has been many many posts regarding the same subject.....use the search.....and do you drive on the hwy at 100mph all the time? Or do you drive 65-75. Top speed has nothing to do with how it drives.

Ive had mine up to around 146mph per GPS, my top speed governer was removed with the apexi rev speed meter.

yea i was never really sure either but im not gonna let mine go anyways.. i love this car.. no need to go breaking it.. i did hit 120 once though.. quite easily even so it definatly tops that but not doing that again too risky and dont wanna ruin my car
