I been to Lakeport, it kinda reminds me of that old movie, "Walking Tall," and not the new one with The Rock but the old one from the '70s. I took this road to 101 from Clear Lake and it was twisty and my nephew earled all over this 96 camry I was driving. What's up with that road that goes along the shore with all those houses on it? There are a lot of houses over there, but it seems deserted.

What about that big Mississippi River style paddle boat?

I don't know about those panels, but I'm sure someone will post with a solution.

I had the door panel off my 00 Corolla yesterday and it appears it may be glued in. My guess is, the cloth is wrapped on a small panel and then it is glued into place. I would try to GENTLY pry under a side edge (not near corner) to see if it may somewhat easily remove.

I saw it done on Corolla panels. Should be simple.

Just take off the door panel and you should be able to see how the panel with the fabric is on. I would think more than likely it's just glued on.

you were probably near konocti theres tone of houses over there, but its mostly older folks around here. its pretty sad. and that boat was either the clear lake queen or the konocti princess. their party boats that people can rent.

in case anyone actually wanted to know how to do it, there should be some circular cut outs in the plastic paneling. You pop those out, pop out the panel on the armrest (if equipped) and unscrew. If you have power windows, you'll need to disconnect the wiring to the window controls and door lock controls (if you have power locks). If you have manual locks/windows, you must remove the window control crank (the handle that rolls down the window).

I'm not sure exactly where, but some of it really did look like that movie, "Walking Tall," which I rented later and was astonished at the similarities. Is that really far from Napa? I was just in Calistoga the other day and I was thinking, "this look familiar, isn't this the road to Clear Lake?" I'm not too into wines myself though. I'm more a beer person --- oh yeah, Bigfoot was sighted in a store in St Helena --- my favorite beer, btw.

If i remember correctly, the the escutcheons for the handles can be removed from around where the handle pivots by prying. They are in a word quite difficult to remove.

leopard? ha ha ha ha ha, I was thinking that as soon as you said 'changing the carpet' but I thought naw, it was just in the back of my head. Talk about a fashion statement, I'm hearing the song 'who's the mack' by IceCube, where he talks about a 'leopard interior' and I'm imagining Tony Montana trying to pick up michelle pfiefer in his "cream puff" in that movie scarface
