which setup will bottom out?

97 camry v6. Can anyone with experiences with the following two setups tell me whether or not it bottoms out like the stock suspension?

1) Eibach pro with Tokico Blue Struts.

1) Eibach pro with KYB struts.

Most of the harshness of the stock suspension comes from it bottoming out, wondering if the two setups will have that problem.

My gues/opinion, (Coming from a man who hasn't done anything with his supsension) is that if its bottoming out with stock suspension, its deff. gonna bottom out with anything aftermarket/performance.

Thats just my guess. So no flaming now

figure the aftermarket would have better damping and rebound since the stuff will be stiffer.

bottoming out on stock suspension?
Are the speedbumps in brooklyn a foot high or something?
Or are you just going way too fast when approaching the bump?

From my experience, i have approximately 5-6 inch clearance to the ground and i never bottom out....

Yea man, the bumps in Brooklyn aint that high. I think your just hitting them too fast or incorectly. Do you have a system in the back? Do you carry a lot of things in your car with you? Cuz all that stuff could bring it down.

I recommend the Tokico Blues ( I have them on my '97 LE V-6) My Tokico warranty stated

1"- 1 3/4" maximum lowering (They work great)

KYB- I believe theses are for oem replacement only, You might want to check on

the warranty (void?) if used with shorter springs/stiffer spring rates(They may not last long)

Try a search...

Cool

Eibach bottoming out!?

Eibachs have about the same chance of bottoming out than the stock suspension hahahahahaha. They don't drop very much at all.

If you're bottoming out on them, something is definately wrong with driving on horrible roads.

Alignments should be done/inspected every 3 months.
