Alarm Keyless entry help!!

I juset installed a crimestopper keyless entry system in my 94 le and i cant get the parking lights to flash with the lock/unlock. I have searched and found many different locations to tap into to get them to flash. No matter where i tap only the headlight low beams will flash. Even when i tap straight into the driver parking light only the headlight will flash. Anyone that can tell me where they tapped to get the parking lights to flash?? I would leave it like it is but im afraid of the current draw on battery for headlights to flash. Thanks..

You might try posting in the car audio / security section.

Probably something to do with the Toyota auto lights off function. What about the brake lights circuit ? Simply add a relay driven by the alarms flash output with the switch contacts across the brake switch connections.

Do you have the wiring info that was on here for the 94 Camry ? It appears you will be looking for the green wire. Not sure why the headlights would flash. If you don't have the wiring PM with E-Mail address and I will scan them.

Is your lead for flash from alarm providing voltage ? or providing ground ?

The headlights shouldn't flash at all.

Parking lights +|green bottom of fuse box

In a white connector just below the fuses with the wires exiting out toward you.

The fuse box is on the dash behind a cover.

Thats where i have the parking light flash output from alarm. I also have the dome light wired to the red/white wire in the same connector. I also tried the suggestion for wiring it to the rear brake lights/ parking lights but still the headlights only flashed.

Don't know, Have the output drive a relay and have the relays N/O contacts across the brake light switch for brake light flash. Quick and easy.

The best thing i did was search all the camry forum for alarm and wiring and get as many different wire color diagrams as you can get. After searching i found 4 wiring color diagrams that all were different in some way on different wires and thier locations on the car. Use a multimeter to find which wire color/location works for you.... If you want to know specifically which ones i used let me know what you are hooking up........
