Where to buy strut mounts (researched)

Hey guys, I know the subject of strut mounts has been beat to death (trust me, it took forever to read through all of the threads!) but I am just curious to know where you guys bought your strut mounts and boots for your gen 3 cams. I see all of the options on tire rack and I dont even know what I need to buy... it lists a few things for strut mounts and I dont know what to buy. Ive found a few other sites but its all a bit confusing to me.

I know for a fact that I need front strut boots because upon inspection i have noticed that mine are torn to shreds. I belive I read that the KYB boots will not fit the tokico struts and that the rear mounts have a boot integrated into them?

I have tokico struts, h&r springs, whiteline rear sway bar, and a ractive strut tower brace all waiting to be thrown on soon... mounts are the last thing i need.

so a. what exactly do I need in the way of mounts and b. where can I get them for a decent price? Ill keep searching in the meantime... thanks a lot guys.

Damon

thanks for the fast reply... i dont see strut mounts anywhere on the toyotapartsforyou.com site but i did see them on 1st toyota parts. thanks for the info.

Heres another question, this site lists both a "strut mount only" for $55.83 and a "strut mount/bearing/upper spring seat" for $125.31 (www.maximumautoparts.com)

is it common for the bearing and upper spring seat to need replacement? or would i be alright with just the mount? thanks for bearing with me. This is for the front of course.

I dont think that the 94 has the bearing in the mount, but I could be wrong. Check the repair manual for more indepth info. If i had it with me I'd tell you myself, but I would go ahead and get the bearing also. If im not mistaken that upper seat is metal and if it looks alright, go ahead and reuse it.

edit: if you havent bought them already, I would go to toyota and buy them. I feel the kyb mounts to be inferior and dont have good experience with them, but then again, that just might be me.

upper seat should be fine since the spring just rests on it...but bearings can go bad. I'd replace the seat if it appears dry rotted or cracked otherwise keep. But while you've got it torn down (esp. with a car over 10 years old) go ahead and do it all. That way you won't have to worry about it for another 10 years.

Im about to order my mounts... is about $280 reasonable for just mounts and strut boots? thats about the cheapest I can find em. I believe that is for the kyb mounts and boots... any idea how much the mounts would run from toyota?

also, I know i read that the kyb boots wont fit tokico struts... but they should still fit with tokico inserts right? I dont see why they wouldnt...
