Well... here is what I have now, I just threw this together today, nothing special... Clarion APX 400.4 (50W * 4) and the MB Quart Crossovers (for the DSD 216 Components in front)... notice one of them is cracked, my bad haha

HERE IS WHATS TO COMEEEE !!!!!! 3 Rockford Amps linked together to form a killer heatsink, 43 inches to be exact.... i still am waiting for the second link to piece the whole thing together -- this will be under plexiglass in a false floor im gonna build soon.... WOW CANT WAIT !!!!!!!!!!

i have the same Clarion amp that you show above. i linked it together with the APX200.2 2-channel amp.

here's an old pic of the false floor i made for the amps and covered with plexi.

i've just recently replaced the bandpass box with individual sealed enclosures for my new 12 inchers.

i'll post some pics of the finished product when i'm done.

keep up the good work. keep us posted.

Hey do you like the 2 separate boxes verses the bandpass? I have a bandpass with 2 Kicker 10s and I was thinking of switching...

i used 3-ply plywood just because it was... um... CHEAP! it was my first time doin a project this big so i didn't want to spend all the extra money on MDF. but it's seems to be turning out alright... so i might redo it in 1/4-inch MDF when it's all done. so yes... use MDF if you can as it is more sturdy and you get cleaner edges outtuv it.

i do have access to the spare which is why i designed it that way. the lower half of the floor comes right out. from there i can flip up the spare cover and access the spare wheel.

i do a lot of snowboarding during the winter so i had to make sure that i'd be able to take everything in & out easily to make room for my gear.

you can see the pic if you copy and paste the link into a new browser window.

to cut the right form into the wood i used the trunk floor carpet as a template. then it's jsut trial and error from there.
