Appearance Mods Help

Don't want to flood the forum with new threads on one day so I'll combine all my questions into one post.

The first question concerns my UCD decal which I just bought. If you go to my cardomain.com site (link is in my signature) and check out the 4th page you'll see the decal. It's applied on the outside, btw. Anyways, I have no idea where to put it, I only know that I don't want it on any of the windows 'cause I don't want to be looking at it when I'm checking for cars. One spot I like is between the rear left window and rear window. Or maybe under the mirror on the driver's door. What do you guys think?

Second, concerns another decal, and this one is a white Oakley O with Oakley written out on the bottom. This one I was considering to put on the top of the spoiler (I planned to get an SE V6 but the dealerrship didn't have any) but now that I have no spoiler, I don't know where to put it. I'm reserving the spot under Toyota for a ToyotaNation.com sticker so that spot is out of the question. I guess the only spot left is above the brake light on the rear window, which means I'll have to get a black decal......

Lastly, I was wondering if any of you know if there is a Toyota-Certified lip spoiler out there, or any spoiler that will not void my warranty (my parents talked me into getting the extended warranty, definitely don't want to void THAT).

All the help is appreciated!

Cool

^ Which all dealers(toyota or not) tend do fairly often

Feel free to whore it up, just make sure there is a reason too. (As in good call combining these into one thread)

You can find misc. ES 300/Windom and Camry's sporting a nice factory little lip spoiler. Unfortunately, they're fairly hard to come by and if you can come up with a Toyota part number, you'll do better than the posters of this thread.

Well... (about the stickers)
10% of us will let you know it's rice
15% reading will agree it's ricey, but won't say anything
37.5% will think the TN sticker ONLY is cool
37.5% will think any sticker is cool

It'll break down something like that.

A lip spoiler would look sweet. Right now I'm dying to try and get one.

This is where I come in.

To tell you the truth, It'd look kinda bad. I kind of mentally pictured a sticker all over your car and there wasn't any place where it would look good. I guess if you wanted you could do it like a bumper sticker or a rear winshield sticker (Put it in on of the corners or behind the headrest in the back seat since you don't want to see it as you drive).

p@nda, You got PM.

BTW, from what I read today, I spoiler cannot void your warrenty being it can't cause any mechanical or electrical problems. The only exception would be if you messed soemthing up in installing a spoiler w/ a brake light.

Well, in regards to the lip spoiler, I'm starting to have my doubts. Don't really trust the ebay ones and the Vizage one is just way too expensive for a piece of plastic.

I would highly recommend you get springs and struts/upgrade your suspension. It makes your driving experience that much better and after that everything (kit, rims, etc) look much much better w/ a lowered car.

If you don't want to lower your car because of maybe scraping concerns, I'd highly recommend you get a swaybar. I have heard numerous times that a swaybar adds a lot to the car and makes a huge difference. At the same time it doesn't cause any potential harms (ex. Your car scraping w/ a lowered car)

I am planning on getting the whole TRD suspension kit, although I don't know if I should get the TRD front strut bar since I already have one. Haven't checked for rear sway bar yet.

TRD is really just a brand and not a product.
That fact can save you a few dollars.

Meaning...TRD doesn't make it's own stuff. Most TRD stuff is only rebadged w/ the TRD name. (ex. TRD springs are really rebadged eibachs.)

The TRD's are nice, but eibachs are near identical...and cheaper, but if $ is no prob, go TRD just to say that you have them

For those who are also looking for lip spoilers for gen 5 Camrys, I found out that the Canadian Camry has a lip spoiler for it. Does anybody know how I can get my hands on one?
