MR2 header for 3sfe?? little help from MR2 guys also!

hey

im currently doing standard mods of intake and exauhst and found that a mr2 header may provide a few hp? what model MR2 is this from? any help is appreciated!

i just have a few questions on the swap:
1. will it bolt on? (stock exauhst)
2. will i be able to do it myself? (are there any special tools/ knowledge needed mayb u guys could help the knowledge part)
3.whill it provide any gains? is it worth the trouble?
4. Will one from an auto wreckers work?

not worth it and it wont bolt up to the stock exhaust.

125 front wheel horsepower with major retard issues between 4500-5200RPM -
OD switched off, even when not in 3rd results in major power loss/rpm drop.

Look for a exhaust manifold off a 3S-GE.

Celicas came with a 3S-GE and some MR2s.

Yes, it bolts onto a 3S-FE.

Since your in Australia, try contacting Genie. They make a header for a 3S-FE.

yeah the header of 3sge's would bolt on. but headers for our motor are available. just call any exhaust place and they should be able to help you. all the people i've contacted said they would have to get them in from queensland.
