Hey guys/gals, I was wondering if anyone can elaborate on these plugs. Are these the same ones that you can buy at the dealer or are they completely different? I want to install them into my 94 camry, 5sfe.

people who got their car boosted put IK plugs into their car because they last longer (is pain to change plugs on a 1MZ-FE) and have it can withstand higher tempreature.

That spark plug adding hp is a myth. It's almost the same concept as using higher octane gas.
the smoke and mirrors is that octane doesn't neccessarily add horsepower, it just prevents you from losing it from timing retard. similarly, fuller combustion is obtained by spark plug manufacturers implementing technologies that aide the plug to resist quenching and be more easily ignitable. (it's not rocket science that fuller combustion = better economy and better power).
This is not to say that everyone is going to gain 20whp with spark plugs, but it is to say you can easily prevent it from being a limiting factor (something which I think only a select few on this forum may even encounter with their cars).
The biggest problem is people say that spark plugs and octane can't make power... well, that's right, but on the other hand, both higher octane and better spark plugs will help not hold your car back from doing what it should. (higher octane in 5sfe's needs to be tuned for to be useful though).
I have Denso Iridium and no, you dont get a dramatic HP boost but you do get a more complete combustion witch translate on wee bit more power, no pinging, higher mileage per gallon and faster response to throttle unput. My previous set run for about 73.000 Kms ok but upon reaching the 80.000 Km mark fuel consumption went through the roof, and some very noticeable loss of power.
Upon inspecting the plugs I noticed that the electrode tip was a little worn, the ground strap/electrode was a different story... 25% of the strap/electrode had worn off and was missing thus not providing a very good spark. This shows that the Iridium electrode can and will hold over 100.000 Km but the problem will be the ground strap, I think Denso shoudl revise the build of the ground electrode/strap

I got some NGK copper spark plugs and installed them a few days ago, so far no problems. I hadn't changed the spark plugs since I got the car from my dad about 35k miles ago (130k now).
