Alignment

Guys I got a question. I need to get an alignment on my car, and my car is lowered with an aftermarket front bumper. I did not think that this would cause any problems but I was wrong. Every place I got to, they say they have to take the front bumper of to do the alignment. This front bumper is causing so many problems. Does anybody else go through this? Also, if anybody if from upstate NY, and knows of any shops that do alignments w/o taking the front bumper off, let me know. Thanks

bring some planks off wood to make the incline onto the lift not as harsh. the problem is you wont make it onto the lift without scraping.

Think you're just going to the wrong places
Try shops that are experienced with lowered cars

how much clearance do you have?

I know when i got my alignment, they had no problems at all cause they just did a civic that was 4.5" lowered

I think 606 mico is right. I am probably going to the wrong places. It’s just that I can’t find a shop around me that has experience with lowered cars, and does alignments. I will just keep looking. If worse comes to worse I will take off the bumper, and put it back on.

I would just take off the bumper. I wouldn't waste time running all over the place trying to find somewhere. Then again that's just me I don't have much patience.
