I am sorry, but I think Pontiac Sunfire is the most over done, wannabe domestic! It's SO ugly I feel bad for people buying this car... Designers were smoking too much crack when they developed this... Ugh!!!!
e-gad!!!that is sick!!! (and i refer "sick" as disgusting, not like many of you refer to it as "wow, that's cool" or something like that)...

Poor car, mutilated in that fashion. At least they took away those cheesy add-on panels on the doors that made it look fast. Pontiac sure LOVES those panels.

yes you have a very very good point!! that car is just not capable of being able to look good. one of my friends has a gold convertible sunfire, and whenever he says his car is pretty cool i just keep quiet
the car wouldnt even look that hideous if the front end (headlights and hood) werent so elevated, it looks like a friggin fakey go-kart body.
i still think the ugliest car ive seen is the new saturn. thing looks like a roach.
Ah...what an ugly car![barfs] I remember reading an article about GMs whole plan to provide their own line of after-market parts for their compact cars. Something about GM wanting to compete with Honda tuners and eventually dominate the street scene. Hmmm...not sure if this sunfire kit is from some independent manufacturer, or actually a GM body kit. I think a after-market part they talked about selling were superchargers.

well, personally, i think that if they make aftermarket parts, their best bet is to try to modify the Cavalier, as that car is the closest to an import car as you can get before crossing the line into Honda/ Toyota/ Nissan/ Mitsubishi territory.
I don't think it's THAT ugly....I'm not saying it looks good, but I think it's "allright"...I mean there are a lot of uglier cars on the road, like the aztek, or some other "weird" modified import cars......
Even on the "normal" version of the Sunfire, the gayest thing is that the two round housings in the bumper, which would be perfectly suitable for foglights, are actually the marker and signal lights in the form of a dual filament bulb like the 1157. I don't know why but I think that's pretty gay.
