99 Camry Noise at 40 and 60? Help!

I guess the title of this post says it all.....

It's kinda of low pitch humming noise, pretty loud, though.

Starts at ~ 40-43 mph and comes back again ~ 60-63. Only these speeds create this noise!

Please help before I bring in tomorrow for diagnostics!

Thanks in advance!!!!!!

Its your CV axles, get under there and look at the CV boots to see if they are cracked or split open. Its a fairly cheap repair, (not at the dealer though) I was able to get both my outer axles replaced for I think $350ish.

Check the tires for cupping. This can produce a sympathetic vibration at various different speeds. Run your hand over each tire. If you are not sure what you are looking for, take it to a tire shop and ask them to check for you. Also, look for a lost wheel balancing weight which may have fallen off one of the tires. Don't forget to check both sides of each tire.

Had a similar one at 65 mph. It was a rear bearing that had to be replaced. I have extended warrantee so I was only out $150 for the deductible. The dealer charged $500 to the insurance.
