recently i have stumbled upon the whole projector headlight idea for the gen 4. and i have to say that i am really upset that i can buy projectors for a 88 astrovan but not for my camry. it really is heartbreaking. that said i have done a lotof snooping the past couple days and havent found much. i did however find some lamps from a company in france called morette. maybe some of you have heard of it. it looks to me that the lights that they show for the carina would work on a gen 4, not that paying $500+ for them would be great but is this our only option.
If it fits I would definitely spend that $500 on them but until I get some solid answers I might to wait on it.
Your option isn't really just that but you'd have to make it yourself.
I'm planning on using S2K projectors and making another set of projector headlamps for the my Gen 4. If that project is done I can sell my current Audi ones.

According to Morette, the Carina headlamps that they offer, will not fit our generation of Camry. If you do a search on Gen 4 Headlights, you will see that we are currently working with Morette to get a set specifically made for our gen. Camry. If you can hold on for a while we will have a set for all who want them. Please just have patience.
We just needed 250 sets and I have that. Now we are trying to get a set of stock headlights to the company so they can use them for measurements and such.
We have the headlights. That's not the problem. French customs is the problem. Currently talking to some people who deal with French customs to make sure this time we try to send the headlights, they will make to Morette, instead of being sent back to us with no explanation. Almost like russian roulette(sp). Once I receive the headlights ( in the next two days) I will send them in, and Morette should get them by the end of the month, depending on how soon French customs processes the package through their system. Thats why I said to please be patient. We will get this done but it gonna take some time. Atleast its finally getting done.
Ya good work on taking charge on this matter and making a difference. Hope things work out and those projectors turn out nice. I wonder if they're HID ready...
