Camry jerks in 2nd gear
Hello,
I have another question about my car…3 weeks ago, the transaxle seals were replaced, my transmission was leaking oil. (where the axles go in) By the way it is a 92 Camry, V6 SE 5 speed, with 169,000 miles. They put new synthetic gear oil in the transmission. The problem is my car will jerk sometimes. At first, I thought my tires had spun on ice, then on the dry pavement, so that is why it kind of jerked. However, it still does it, if I am only driving on dry asphalt. Once in a while, around 20 MPH, when I switch from 1st to 2nd and accelerate slowly it will jerk (for half a second). Otherwise, everything works fine,
(if I accelerate faster and switch gear at a higher RPM, around 3500) I really wonder if there is something wrong with the transmission. The mechanic said when he drained and refilled the tranny there were no pieces of metal coming down so it looks like it is fine.
What do you guys think?
