Tranny Problems

well i get the CEL like a week ago and i finally got a chance to pull the codes off of it heres what i get:

P0770 Shift Solenoid E Malfunction

well i know this sounds bad but im just hoping its just a glitch in the ECU cause i was driving and i accidently hit it in neutral and then the light poped on so yeah i pulled the fuses and relays and hopefully it will reset the light and i hope it dont come back on again.

Any insight on to what the error is ? and how hard it would be to fix if it does reoccur? i just hope i dont have to do a whole new tranny cause yeah that would majorly suck.
any comments would be helpful

you need to get the code cleared with a scanner and start the drive cycle
