hey i just got my in dash dvd player with 7'' fold out screen, and im wondering...how complicating is this gonna be?????
allen's the only one i have seen on tn with the in dash dvd player, but im really sure there are many more of y'all out there, so help me out
i see all kinds of wires and different things in the instruction booklet, and im also wondering if my car already has all the neccesary wires for this thing to plug into, and all of that? will it kinda just go in as easy as a cd player? or do i got some work ahead of me?
thanks guys

Actually it isn't that hard to do...pretty basic..the only catch if you have to make sure that when folded out it won't hit anything. Just let me know what model and make the DVD player is, and I can help you from there. Also...on a side note make sure that the brake lead for it is run to a switched lead, that is when the car is on, so is the power, so you don't have to leave it in park. Besides 1 LCD isn't bad...try 3, I am probably going to be at 4 when I am all done
Yeah, I just did a wireless job for the slimline PS2...no more controller cables, but I have to remout the unit. 3rd TV is in the trunk.....I figured the hooker had to watch something. Next big AV job is new HU....Sirrius and JVC...like PB and J
altho i think i might have to copy allens idea of letting someone else do all the work cause last night i opened up the boxes to admire my new toy, and i saw all those wires and then read thru the manual real quick and i felt like i was back in math class again so yea im takin this thing to a local shop and let them deal with it....so hopefully it won't cost too much...thanks again for the comments

I'm not gonna flame you since you'll actually have a dvd player in your dash and I just have a portable dvd player with the sound running through my car stereo, but I have heard NOTHING good about the brand Pyle. I've heard there subs blow very quickly, speaker quality is ass and the brand as a whole is like the Daewoo's or Kia of car audio.

you got yourself a PYLE of $#!+ there buddy. that brand is useless. you'll probably spend more having it installed than what it's actually worth to anyone. i hope you saved your receipt.
as for installation, it's not as bad as it looks. it took me about an hour to do my installation only because i wanted it to be neat and clean.
