I'm in the process of building my 5S-FE, but no runs yet and I'm not far enough to even consider it yet. The summer's another story though.
I highly doubt I'll get any ET's in the 12's though.

My car ran 17.100 sec. @ 82.84 mph a couple weeks ago, but I was a little heavier than I should be. I'm also still stock, though. Running again this coming friday, hopefully I can reach 16.5 with the weight I'm taking out.

I ran 16.302 sec with a N/A engine, though the only thing I had insalled was injen short ram intake, but thats it. I think I can do better though...Look at that post and look at the number of stuff he has installed in his car....that makes a diff.

How much does that antenna conversion typically cost?

Cost me just about $70 with tax, after a $12 discount on the Toyota parts for it. That is using all Genuine parts. Most of my friends all like the way it looks.

*Edit I wrote a DIY yesterday in the Camry forum you should take a look at.

Cool

Sean Mcelligott did... It's a turbo now, so it no longer counts.

'92 ES 300 5-speed.
It'd run the 1/4 mile in the low 14's (14.2-14.3) and low 13's with n2o.

I don't know of any Camry based car any quicker without boost... Hell, sean didn't even have to crack the block so... I'd say with some exhaust, work and some careful ecu tuning added to all of his mods, 14 flat would be possible... I highly doubt anything under 13.8 would be possible without a rebuild, even if you had the help of an LSD.

Yes... Maxima's are quicker... No doubt about it.

I havent seen a timeslip faster than my 14.7. My only mods were cone air filter, trd short shifter and eibach springs.

I'm sure i could get it to run 13's on motor alone but id rather spend that money to run 12's which is my next goal.
