if its anything like any other camry remove the trim piece (there might be two screws at the bottom) and loosen the four screws that hold in the unit.

Your best bet tho is to get a haynes manual and double check so you dont break any of the trim clips. Some local auto stores will let you flip thru the manual even if there isn't one already opened on the shelf.

yeah mate...

i got a pioneer 7650 single din head unit in my 03 camry

link is in sig...

you need a pocket and 2 side plates...

if you get a headunit similar to mine you won't be able to have the silver frame on like mine unless you do some little mods that i have. i prefer to have it on cause i reckon it looks better

the centre console is held on by 4 clips. 2 on both sides of the clock and 2 under each air con vent. since there is nowhere to slide your fingers under to easily rip it off do it this way:

lay your hands out flat with palms down and grip your fingers and palm inside where the clock is. then keep your thumbs over the head unit and you just gotta try and slide it off as hard as you can.

the first time you try to pull it off its hard. but once you get it off a few times the clips loose some of the stiffness and its easy to slide off with your palms.

then you see 4 hex bolts holding the bracket in ...take it off and lift the head unit out. the brackets are held to the side of the head unit by 4 screws.

Actually, there is a better way than just trying to rip it out. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry out the AC controls, just a few inches down from the top two edges. Then you'll be able to easily pull out the trim around the head unit. Start pulling out from the bottom of each side and it should come out easily after that.
