Scepter?
Hey been reading lots of posts and there seems to be a craze for Scepters and Scepter panels.
Noob question but why does everyone want one so bad besides that it is rare?

well for one, they add like 40hp power to your stock engine and secondly.....
but for real, yeah they are rare/exspensive but they look good, and if you're driving down the road in a camry nobody will turn their head once (cause they're everywhere), but if they look and notice that it says "scepter" across the back they see it and think "wow, what is a scepter" and they'll think you got some rare kinda car that they have never seen before, well that's what i would think if i saw one before i knew what they were
anyone else got a thought on this, beside the fact that they are rare

In the Japanese Domestic Market, the name for the Camry is the Scepter.
Scepter panels are cool looking and are JDM.

well, Scepters are the JDM names for the COUPE and WAGON version of the Gen. 3 Camry's...
so, unless your car's actually a coupe, or a wagon, it's "improper', but since it fits, and no one really gives a rat's ass, it's cool...
plus these days, ANYTHING JDM = Cool...
unless it's those exhausts that stick out 6 feet in the air..

Those exhaust styles might actually catch on in a couple months.

Would it be stupid of me if I put (if I could find one!) a scepter panel on my '96 sedan?
