Question Power Window stuck

Hey Everyone,

My 93's rear pass side window is stuck down. It has no power from the master switch and the switch at the door will only lower it. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Vic

Wink

Replace the master switch panel.

Power from the passenger side verifies that the motor and regulator inside the window is functioning properly.

If you do not change the master switch panel and it eventually gets stick, you will risk burning out the motor and/or regulator. Then you will be faced with replacing not only the switch panel, but also the motor and regulator as well.

I had the same problem and it turned out to be broken door wiring, within the flexible boot.

The window would lower allthe time, but would not go up unless the door was open. The wiring could fail so that it will go down but not up at all.

I've encountered wiring problems with both rear doors long before I experienced a similiar problem with the front doors.

If you search the "window" threads you will find an explanation about how to splice in new wires.
