Camry BackUp Light and Gear Selector Light Out

Hey everyone:

I have a 2003 Toyota Camry LE Automatic. I noticed today I have no backup / reverse light. I have read many posts on this forum, a few camrys from previous year have the same problem, and some people have suggested that there's a neutral safety switch near the transmission or something like that. My bulbs are fine, and all my other lights are also ok it's probably not the fuse either. But my car was serviced just yesterday for a Transmission Drain and Fill, so I am not sure if that had anything to do with it. Also I have noticed that the gear selector light between the spedometer and the tachometer are also off, I cant see what I am selecting. So I think these two problems are related.

Well when my backup light weren't working it was due to the fact that the wire was cut somehow by the trunk hinge. Don't know if this would apply to a 2003 Cam though.
