i had a buddy change my brake pads last night and we put the tires back on...after driving for about 20 minutes, i noticed a clicking sound while driving. if i hit the gas or brakes it goes away, but if i take my foot off, its a clicking sound that sounds like its coming from the front left wheel (but the person in the passengers seat swears its coming from that side). on the front right wheel there is one lug nut thats not all the way on because it was stripped, but would that make it click? any ideas?

CV Joints? Are the boots torn?

maybe the rim is hitting the lug nut when you go over bumps? metal on metal= click thats my guess

don't think its the nut because i over-torqued (and broke off) one of my front driver's side nuts (

sounds funny), anyway, and it didn't cause any problems,

take front wheels off and recheck, make u have a shim, caliper pins are greased and in properly, clean inside of wheel, make sure pads are on correct...download the sticky at the top (if gen 3) and open brakes or buy a haynes manual....
