White guages. nub question

Hey all, I guess I have sorta of a noobie question. I was wondering for any of you that have the white face guages for gen3, how hard was it to install and did you run into any problems when you were installing them? I'm planning on getting a set, but not sure if it's worth the hassle.

Personally, I went with the reverse indiglo's...wasn't too bad, just remeber you may have to trim the outside plastic and cut a few holes to get the wires out of the cluster. On a scale of 1 to 10...it is about a 7 at most

There not to hard to install. The biggest issue most people have is finding the correct wire to tap into for power.

Tap into the parking light wire to power the gauges. Its a green wire on one of the plugs that plug into the back of the gauge cluster.

I did that and now they only turn on when the car is in park.

Get yourself a tester as seen in the link for the gen3 install and search for the right source. Follow rayrays instructions up to the point where he says which wire it is and you'll be set.

just get the power from the fuse box.....i've just used the tailight one for times when u want the gauges to light up only when the headlights are on.......or u can put it into the heated seats fuse so that it'll be on when the car is on
