auto starter problem

i have a viper 160vx auto starter and i just got it installed. and in the mornings when it is really cold, it doesn't start. some mornings, it does. i call the shop that i got it installed at and they say its the run timer or crank timer. that it needs to be extended. i posted my problem up before. some people suggested that it might be a wire or two that are not properly insulated. do you guys think its the crank timer or what? the guy's logic was that when its colder, it takes longer to start the car. its a brand new car. it is an 05 camry. with roughly 4.5k miles on it. what do you guys think? PLEASE HELP. thank you!

All that does is turn it over longer before disengaging. If you didn't have trouble starting with the key before the install (no long starts), then it is not the problem.

Is the battery still draining? Does it still turn over slowly in the morning with the key? I'm guessing that the radar detector being left on wasn't the problem.

no it wasn't. cuz on a cold morning, it didn't work again. sigh. i think i'm going to ask the guy to check to see if the wires are insulated right. i don't think increasing the crank time will be good for my engine. :\ . sigh help me
