Wut up everyone. I have a 94 cam v6 xle, and I need to get a new engine. My question is, are there any engines that are the same size as the orginal 94 cam, that have more horse power then the orginal 94 cam? I am not good when it comes to swaping engines so please dont flame me. Thanks
Not flaming you, but this topic has been discussed countless times over.
I strongly recommend that you use the Search feature to seek this information.
And who cares if it's been talked about before? Everything has been talked about before. I guess we might as well just close the forum up and leave it as a searchable archive, huh?

Exactly...i agree.
Things can get talked to death for sure...but sometimes the search doesnt work to well..you have to look for ages. So easiest thing is to just post. I'm sure almost every topic has been discussed thus far..with the exception ppl's rides and stuff.

In your case, I suggest that you get another 1MZ-FE. I don't know if theres any differences between the early 1MZ and later 1MZ. But I'd say the best bet is to get one from a 94 Camry.
A 3S-GTE is not a direct swap for your car. You need custom engine mounts, rewire the engine harness, etc....
buy the time and money u spend swaping u could just go get a {jdm} motor and put some headers whill the motor is out ..Youll only gain 20-50 horsepower That is the easy power for ya . I think

There is a VVT version of the 1MZ, probably be an expensive swap in the way of parts though. Not sure what you need, but if I had an earlier model 1MZ that needed to go away, I would look into it.
