I was wondering before I can buy the TRD Exhaust for my Gen 5.5 camry. Does it emit a big fart when accelerating like those honda rice rockets? Or does it pitch a low tone like BoB Marley's voice? Or is it similar, but a bit louder than a stock exhast?
it sounds really nice... sounds like a pur... I heard jeff's (SpectraBlueCam) TRD exhaust on his new solara and it sounds SWEET!!! I wonna get one for myself too.
Gen 5 - 2002 Phantom Gray Pearl Camry V6 LE:
-TRD Rear Sway Bar
-SE Model Strut Tower Bar
-Borla Exhaust
-Injen Intake
-Sportivo Grille
-TRD Lowering Springs (sitting in my room waiting to be installed)
the same muffler fits i4's and v6's (look at the piping, its SAME). I've got a trd on my 5sfe solara. Its not loud IMO, well maybe on cold morning and startup's, but other than that..its pretty mild. I'm thinking of going apex and switching my trd to the camry....
Thanks, but I'm sticking with TRD. I want only TRD parts on my camry.
TRD Outsources all their products, so the borla one is the same. You're just paying for the name.

I know they're the same, and I'm willing to pay for the name. I just don't like the idea of having, "borla" on the exhaust. I don't like the "Borla" logo IMO.
But, when I do get this exhaust in the future, what else do I need? Air Intake, headers? Spill it out guys.
