Well I finally got around to buying a digital camera (Canon Powershot S330). So I took some pics of my turbo, engine (torn apart), and some other stuff.

Some ppl were asking about pics of my turbo and here they are:

http://trd.gotnet.net/trbocam/1.jpg

Theres 23 pics. Change the 1.jpg to 2.jpg and so on. Enjoy. =)

I'll take some more pics after I replace the headgasket and put everything back together.

Hey. I like those blue windshield wiper arms. Did you DIY or actually buy new arms?

The project was done along time ago. Just never got around to posting pics cos I didn't have a digital camera at the time.

And buy a external wastegate.

The reason why it was overboosting is because the damn spring in the wga is to tight.

OVERboosting? Boost is like crack... one time and your hooked for life. Always looking for more and more, each time. I wasn't aware that you could go *too high* with the boost.

You need to learn not to be greedy with boost cos that will be your undoing.

My buddie got greedy with his supercharged Mustang and the engine grenaded. The #8 piston cracked and the top of another one was melted.
