I replaced the cap/seal when redoing the topend of the motor.
It's slightly weepy.
Does Toyota put sealer or silicon on the seal when installing from factory?
Just that this is a new seal and I wouldn't of expected it to be weepy.
Could something be warped or worn?

It's just a rubber/ high-temp silicone like RTV sealant. Anything like that will work. Doesn't ahve to be name brand. If it won't melt @ 200F, and is water proof, it'll work.

Basically... Any high temperature calk type stuff would work. I didn't have any RTV laying around, so I used a bottle of RTV like anti-brake squeel.

I had the stuff all over my engine when i bought it.
I imagine they do, since there sin't an actual gasket to fit their.
