spring replacement without removing struts?

96 camry

how hard is it to change the springs without changing the stuts (yes, I do my own work, adn I am replacing my stuts today!)

I can't really afford eibach springs right now, but I need to get struts (kyb) immediately because my tires are getting ruined, and I may decide at a later time that I want to put some springs on my car and so I am debating whether I should wait until I can afford it, or be irresponsible and just get them now.

thanks

I searched on dial-up for over a half hour , and could not find the answer anywhere
I bold my questions to make them stick out. Always have, always will.

Don't forget it is highly recommended to go for an alignment job any time you drop suspension components. Out of alignment will ruin tires fastest.
Thats why it makes sense to do both at the same time if you have the intention.
Search ebay or this site for springs, I am sure some people here have a spare set lying around collecting dust.

thanks for the replies.

and if anyone finds this thread on their search,
http://vamp.darkravers.net/ has a spring walkthrough (doubles as a strut walkthrough) under his "myDIYs" link.

Got my alignment done at Sears for $60. Comes with 6mo warranty. Something to think about.
