make your own CAI... those injens and other short intakes don't do much besides bring in hot air.. you need a setup where the filter is away from the hot air of the engine bay

Trust me... ITS NOT HARD AT ALL..
I'm only 16 I made my own CAI... I kind of rushed it but... as long as you read about other peoples CAI's and ask on the forums for advice.. you'll be fine.... Where are you located?
If your in the GTA I might be able to help you out ...

search the forum for CAI or Cold Air Intake.. i know that somewhere in one of the posts someone has a link to a complete tutorial on how to make it.. very thorough.. but i forget which topic it is in.. but if you find it it would be a P.O.C. to do. it is written like CAI for dummies. lol and generally CAI on costs around 80 to get all the materials.

mine only cost 10 bucks for my CAI, go down to home depot get a piece of flexible aluminum ducting, its like for driers or somethinmake sure its the stronger one not the foil one, then pick up a rubber connector in the plumbing section and thats all you need, i installed mine in 1/2 hour, you might also wanna make a bracket to hold up the mass air flow sensor, its should be pretty easy, like the other guy sais there are plenty of other posts of people showing off there CAI, you can learn alot from them
