Just got my CSF radiator in the mail today. I'll be installing it in an hour or so (after my car's properly cooled down) and I must say, this thing looks very nice!
Came with a lifetime warranty and also has metal endtanks. Now not only will I have a non-leaking radiator, but a much nicer one than I started with.
I'll post some pictures in a couple minutes. While I'm at it, I think I'll post some pictures of some other (currently) uninstalled goodies.
From my own personal experience metal tanks are bad. Had a '87 Celica came with plastic tanks OE... wish I'd stuck with them. Metal tanks tend to overheat easier in Toyotas, that's why they stuck plastic ones in there. Why do you think a metal tank costs less than a plastic one? Anywho, I hope it works out, but might want to keep the plastic one handy if it's still in usable shape. If it's not, take it to a local radiator shop and get it repaired, probably 100 if you take the whole car and probably around 70 if you pull it and take just the radiator in.
what kind of springs are those? are they whiteline?
not to hijack but i got my springs/struts install completed yesterday, i'll have to post a few pics after the car settles some more...i'll chat with ya later.

almost done, just got the old rad out, the biggest bitch was the temp sensor in the bottom of the radiator, I just cut the clips off, as I have a couple zip-ties that I intend on using for the new radiator in place of them.
The weight is similar, but likely a slight bit heavier. Normally I wouldn't go for 'heavier' but this is an exception.
Give me a couple seconds and I'll post some stock vs double wide pics, as both of them are out of the car right now.
Did your old rad break, or did you have problems with it?

the plastic end-tank cracked and had a lot of pressure marks. I was leaking coolant which was actually spraying onto my exhaust manifold's heatshield and burning.
not exactly fun when you're driving and all of a sudden you see steam billowing from your hood.
anyway, almost done, just dropped one of the screws down the hood, time to run to autozone and pickup a new one, figures, the one thing I lose is one of the clamp screws.
if you can see in the picture, I stole a bolt from the heatshield for my clamp, because I went to autozone and tested the bolt and somehow still came out with the wrong pitch threading? said m8-1.25 but I'm guessing it was really m8-1.25 and the coarse bolt just slid in because it was finer threading, but when I went to put the finer threaded bolt in the hole, it was a no-go. I'll return it tomorrow and try the m8-1.25 and see if that works.
either way, when I get a chance, the old manifold's coming off and the rippmods is going in. the leak was really putting a damper on installing that, 'cause I didn't want the coolant to eat at the ceramic coating.
how much slack is in the hoses? woudlnt want em to pop off under engine movement
