Will a strut bar have any real noticable gains in cornering and handling?

4th Generation

I installed a strut bar on my stock 97 camry and it does considerably reduce body roll on the front end of the car, AND it helps keep the front wheels glued to the road. Basically gives you a more exact feel when cornering.

This is MOST noticeable when cornering hard, but I was actually pretty surprised by the improvement. Just make sure that you've got it on super tight when you do the install.

Strutbars are part of the suspension set up my tomodachi. Of course it improves the car.

For a daily driver...most likely no. You will notice larger differences with performance springs and struts. If you don't feel like that...a sway bar is probably a better bang for the buck
