Changing From 14 To 15 Inch Wheels

I have a 2000 Camry CE which came from the factory with 14 inch wheels and Dunlop tires. I'd like to change over to 15 inch wheels and Michelin tires. The tires have about 22K miles on them and seem to break belts on a regular basis which results in a wobble at about 24 MPH. Has anyone done this with success and minimal complications? Thanks, Jim

easy, get the 15's you want and the tires, and have a shop put them on (or do it yourself if you have the tools). Watch out for:
Speedometer may be off a little
Odometer may move a little faster/slower, I don't remember which.
Good luck.

you'll be fine unless you increase the total diameter of the tire

I've done this on my '98 Camry CE, both for winter and summer driving. In the winter it has 205/65/15 Bridgestone Blizzaks on steelies (slightly larger diameter than stock), and in the summer it has 205/60/15 Kumho KH11s on steelies. No issues so far, but I did need to add 5mm spacers to the back to clear the Blizzaks (they're a very wide tire)...

HTH -
