HELP! Rear Deck Lid STUCK?!

Hey everyone I need some help. I have a gen3 and the other day I accidentally turned the key for the trunk the wrong way, now the valet lock is on, but I can't get it to turn the other way back to normal. I can't get into my trunk? I took it to the dealer and they told me to get in through the seats and pull on the rod that is connected from the trunk lid lock to where the trunk latches. No dice. It didn't work, so I still can't get into my trunk from inside or outside. The trunk release won't work, and neither does the key? Help please?? Anyone ever run into this problem before?

wait,...why cant you get in from the back seats? anyway, just get an original key, not that valet key and push it in hard and turn the opposite way (right i think) keep trying till it works. its similar to the glove box lock
