Launching the Camry from N to D...Good or bad to the car?
Just wondering if it's ok to launch the car that way...Ex. reving the engine on N to around 3000+RPM, and dropping the gear to D and peel off.....will that do harm? Havent' done this yet and just wanna make sure its safe before trying or don't do it at all...
It's not like a stick where you can just "dump" the clutch. Are you trying to impress friends or something? It's a total useless thing to do to your car.

dont do it i tried that on my corolla before i tried it on my camry it fucks up the car so bad i did it like 20 times with the corolla and when i wanted to accelerate regular the car studdered it was so funny doing it thow but the car is in a junkyard now and im sure u dont want ur car there too
^^Power-braking doesn't work either? Granted, the rapid heat buildup is probably just as bad for your trans as a neutral drop... Sticks are wayyy better if you want to peel out

Not something you want to do on regular basis. It wears the clutches away in the A/T.
Coast backwards at 15mph, and when you decellerate to 10mph nail the gas and shift into a drive gear. That is the only way you can leave descent tire marks in an i4. It's very bad for the tranny too!

ive done it once, didnt really notice anything wrong, just that id never do it again...if you want to burn out so badly i suggest holding the break, getting the car up to 3-4 000 rpm's and let go of the brake and continue to press down on the gas, some what of a burnout

if you really wanna burnout, get some tire-shine and spray it under/on the treads of your front tires. Get in and pull the e-brake as hard as you can. Now, hold the brake down hard and rev the engine. Brake-launch the front tires at about 2500-3000, and hold the gas down. I would not reccomend doing this for long, since it's hell on both the engine and the tranny, not to mention the tires. Once you have felt your oats enough and want to peel out, drop the e-brake.
All in all, it's stupid either way. Ricer shit.
