There's plenty of info on doing projectors yourself, hell there's even mail-based companies that do retrofits for you.

even so, it's been plastered too many times. there's companies that make projectors and do HID conversions for a price.

the issues are: they require you ship your current headlights to them (meaning you won't have headlights for over a week), plus they're quite expensive (well over $500, as I recall)

Man I just started clearing my lense a few days ago and I'm still going at it. I finally have 2 free days to do it and hopefully I finish by then. Ya I bet clearing it is a big part of the labor.

If people are willing to spend money on hids, then I don't see what the problem is with retro-fitting projectors.

as said, the clearing out part is the part that everybody worries about, and rightfully so, but if you have hids, the texture of the lense doesn't break up the light in anyway

I never finished my projector project because after I was half done, I realized that unless I got hids, OR cleared out the lense, I'd have a wackedout beam pattern that will glare like mad

and since I can't justify spending hundres on hids and I haven't had time to buy another set of lenses and clear them, the project's on hold

long story short -> if you have hids or want to get them, a projector retrofit is a cinch
