I thought after I lowered my car, put some rims on, and my new TRD kit, my Gen4 would look pimp. But my gf made a comment that Accords look soo much better than camrys - stock or even when modded. Not to mention, people that at my work all point and laugh at how "stupid" and waste of money it was to mod my car, and that a civic or an Rsx would be worth to mod. Whats the reason why you guys work on you camrys?
look up people like tony the tiger, eddies. Camry's have taken on such a better name then civics.... it isnt a family car, and is becoming so much more. Tell these people that rice sucks, and to eat a dick.
its uniqe and original and not something that every one has already done personally i hate civics my buddy got one and got fid of it 2 weeks later for a more unique car hes now proudly rolling an MX-6 he said the civic was 2 played out same as my thoughts
I could understand an rsx being a better choice to mod, but a civic???
and I'm not a big fan of hte gen4, but it's still a hot car when kitted with the trd kit
get a supercharger and then ask them again.
oh. and dump your g/f.
j/k

Everybody and their dog drives a Honda. Why? Because it takes no skill to mod them. When I was a few years younger I wanted one, but I'm glad I got my Camry instead. With a nice modded (insert non-honda car here), you stand out from the 89723468273468 Civic drivers with fart cans and every $10 part on eBay and instead come across as someone with taste. Honda's don't impress me anymore. There are so many of them with the same exact mods that there's just nothing special about them.

I could care less if people think *insert Brand or Model* is such a good car to mod.
Some people like things that come easy and that's that.
The reason I love modding my car is because I am modding it for my tastes, not someone elses. I will simply not spend paycheck after paycheck to put parts on a car so someone else can look at it and say "Hey your ride's cool!"
I'm not looking for recognition, I'm just experimenting and seeing what I can make my Toyota do.
I do my own thing and if people like it, then hey I'm glad ya do.
I've had some people talk trash about it, I just engage them in conversation and ask what they would do to it most of the time you'll find they like most of what you've done to the car. Sometimes you will get some answers that are pretty hilarious.
I once had a bagboy at Publix tell me that I should drop an H22 (think that's right) from a Honda Prelude into my car.
The funniest thing about Civics is that if you want to look different than the other Civic drivers leave your car stock.
They will all be impressed when you tell them its genuine USDM parts.

that's what I always say
If I got one, I'd just drop it (not slam) and that's it
and I rather like civics. Just not modified ones
