How can I improve my top end?

Would an intake help me out? I know headers would for sure; but I don't want to get headers first w/ out having intake and exhaust. Any suggestions?

The search button generally will give you a stronger top-end without sacrificing low-end torque. Great mod, IMO.

Thanks for the suggestion; but I tried searching "top end" and found nothing in reference to my topic.

your best bet would be cams. best off doing your exhaust work first, so you can take advantage of 'em though.

My vote is in the cams and exhaust work, headwork naturally will, but without a set of cams, you're going to have to do a lot of headwork.

Right now, I'm having my headwork done without cams. I'll get robbed of quite a bit of hp and a considerable amount of my powerband's potential width, but I'm planning on doing cams for the summer.

If you're looking for a quick fix (like he seems to be) 2 parts can do it, that'd be cams and header.
If you're wanting to go further, the headwork's certainly helpful (but a lot of money).

I'm not trying to say cams or a header is cheap, just that it's what will get the job done best.

Cool

Decrease the fuel the ECU is supplying to the engine at high rpm...
