TRD sway-bar

OK,
I did a search on this but I just wanted to confirm what I'd need. If I'm ordering a TRD rear sway-bar for my '96 camry which one do I get? The one for the '99 solara? I also saw that I may need new bushings or something...possibly different brackets for the bushings? If this is the case does anyone know the part #'s? I guess thats it unless there's something else I'll need to make said sway-bar work on my car.

thanks,
-Alex

Thanks a lot, thats weird, I did a search for "TRD sway-bar" and that didn't come up. Maybe because I hyphenated it.

thanks again,

-Alex

Get the bar from Eddie Haeback. Kinderhook Toyota for $150 shipped, best suspension investment you'll ever make. Remember to also get some lithium grease, I recommend white lithium grease spray because its easier to use. The purpose of this is to stop any squeaking noises after installation of the bar.

I've got a friend who works at a Toyota dealership, I'm gonna see what kind of deal he can get me. Should I wrap some teflon tape around the bar and spray the lithium around that?...or just use the lithium?

thanks,
-Alex

It doesn't make a difference I guess. The theory of wrapping teflon tape is hopefully it helps hold the grease in there longer. But its been months now and my bar doesn't squeak at all. Either way works fine I guess.
